15.1.2 Removing the Side Panels
With the front panel open and secured, thumb screws become visible. Both side panels are
fixed to the instrument with these screws: 2 in the front, and 2 in the back. The screws are
designed to stay on the analyzer to avoid losing them.
The system valves and measuring chambers are behind the left side panel. Open the left
side panel if chamber cleaning is requested by the analyzer.
Right side covers sampling unit, wash head and sampling needle. You need to open the right
side cover if the wash head needs to be cleaned or replaced.
After removing the cover, potentially hazardous parts become accessible,
electronic boards, motors, moving parts, sampling needle, chambers, tubes
and valves.
These components may cause injury, or can get damaged if handled
incorrectly. Only certified personnel should open the covers. Running
measurements with opened cover is not recommended due to the risk of
possible injury. Always wear safety gloves while performing maintenance
actions.
Always make sure to re-tighten the thumb screws when reinstalling side panels.
15.1.3 User Maintainable Parts of the Analyzer
