9.2 Operating Modes with Control Terminal T
Ergometers with control terminal T support the following
operating modes:
PC Mode
An external device (e.g., an ECG recorder, a PC-based ECG
system) controls the ergometer – no intervention at all is
required at the ergometer.

Ergometry
The ergometer automatically completes the selected exer-
cise test – the available protocols (5 preconfigured, editable
protocols and 5 user-configurable protocols) are saved in
the ergometer (see section “Editing Settings” on page 50).

Training / Test
Ten user-configurable training/test protocols are available
(see chapter 9.2.3 “Training / Test” on page 53).

Manual
The ergometer is controlled manually, i.e., the user per-
forms all load changes via the display.

Setup
Used to configure the ergometer. The button disappears
within 2 minutes after the ergometer was switched on.
This interval can be modified in the Service menu.
