1.    Take the appliance out of the box, remove packaging.
2.  Make sure that the operating voltage corresponds to the mains voltage used in your house.
3.  Wipe the iron body and soleplate, particularly the steam holes with damp soft cloth, and then 
wipe it dry
4.  Fill the water tank with filtered or distilled water up to the mark. 

Before using your iron

General Safety Requirements

1.    Use the device solely for the intended purpose. The manufacturer is not liable for the damages 
resulting from the failure to comply with requirements of this manual. 
2.   People with reduced capabilities, lack of knowledge and experience, as well as children are not 
allowed to use the iron without monitoring or instructing regarding the application of the device to 
be conducted by a person responsible for their safety. 
3.  Iron packaging material may pose a hazard of suffocation for children. Keep the packaging in 
an inaccessible place. 

It is strictly forbidden to play with the device!

4.  The operating voltage of the device must match the voltage used in your home network. The 
iron  must  only  be  connected  to  a  network  with  a  grounding  that  conforms  to  the  established 
standards. When using the device, application of non-standard power supply facilities is prohibited.
5.   Prior to every switching-up, make sure that there is no damage to the casing, stand and power 
cord of the iron. It is prohibited to plug the iron into the socket if any. 
6.  Do not use the device outdoors, near sources of heat and open flame, at the spot of direct 
sunlight, or near water filled containers. 
7.   When wetting the switched-on iron or falling it into the water, disconnect the device from the 
mains immediately. The following operation of the device is possible only after checking performed 
by a skilled professional.
8.  Put the iron on a flat, stable and dry surface as far as possible from the edge. Keep the device 
cord  out  of  hanging  from  the  surface  on  which  it  is  placed  as  well  as  out  of  touching  the  heat 
sources by cord.
9.  Don’t leave the iron unattended.  
10.  Don’t leave the iron with its plate on the ironing board. Always place it vertically on its back if 
not ironing.  
11.  Save yourself from steam burns while steaming. 

Don’t steam pieces been worn!  

12.  Connect and disconnect the appliance only with dry hands, holding the electric plug, never pull 
on the cord.
13.  Unplug the iron for storing, cleaning and filling the water tank. Don’t fill the water tank with 
descaling solutions.   
14.  Use the measuring cup to fill the water tank. Don’t fill the water tank directly from water tap!  
15.  Don’t touch the hot surfaces, use handle to move the appliance. 
16.  Prevent the cord and sole plate from damages caused by sharp metal objects and surfaces.  
17.  Let the iron be cooled down completely before storing. Don’t spool the cord on the iron body for 
storing. Keep the appliance in  a place inaccessible for children.   
18.  Do not repair the iron on your own. The appliance is to be serviced by the qualified personnel 
only. 

Attention!  Warranty is invalid in case of the misuse of the appliance!
