Tips for Packing and load distribution

Pack all heavy equipment as low in the pack and as close to your back as possible. After that pack the lighter pieces.
Where possible only, mount very light items on the outside of the pack, e.g. helmet or similar. For temporary, short-term use it is
possible to mount heavy items (e.g. parcels and packages) to the outside of the BC Urban, too

(see page 16 - Cargostrap)

.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Thoroughly clean and dry your Ergon backpack after every use. Use only lukewarm water and a soft sponge. To protect the coa-
ting on the inside face of the fabric, wipe the inside only with a damp cloth. Do not use hot water, bleach, dishwashing/soaking
agents or stain removers. For stubborn stains use a detergent free soap only. Refrain from using solvents on your Ergon back-
pack, as it will cause permanent damage to the water-repellent coating. Failure to follow these instructions will void any liability
and warranty. For drying, hang the open backpack in a well ventilated and shaded place until completely dry. The backpack may
not be machine-washed and/or -dried.

Note

The backpack is water-resistant but not completely waterproof! For full waterproofing stow all electronic devices separately.

Storage

Never store your Ergon backpack when moist or dirty. This allows mold to grow on the fabric, causing unpleasant odor and
potentially irreparable damage to the pack. Store your backpack in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight.

Warranty
