Test 64 x ADSL2+ Card
Test all new 64 x ADSL2+ cards (02HAT00162AAD).
The
64 x ADSL
lines are grouped as 1 to 4, 5 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 16, 17 to 20, 21 to
24, 25 to 28, 29 to 32, 33 to 36, 37 to 40, 41 to 44, 45 to 48, 49 to 52, 53 to 56, 57 to
60, and 61 to 64.
One ADSL Line should be tested from each group of four lines. This will ensure that
each line IC is tested.
The xDSL lines will now be Configured and Activated, and can therefore be tested
by being connected to an xDSL modem at the HDF.
a.
Connect the xDSL modem (or Golden Modem) to the relevant pair of wires
on the HDF Handin Frame LLUT block.
b.
Wait for activation of the xDSL line, indicated by the modem’s WAN LED
turning ON, and the XDSL line turns from yellow to green. For Golden
Modem (Tester) wait for Training followed by Showtime to appear. Check
that the relevant alarms disappear using the
Alarm Browser
window.
(‘ATU-C Loss of signal’ for ADSL).

Place the cursor on the <
64 x ADSL unit >
to be tested.
d.
Right click on the unit and select
Lines
from the menu.
e.
When the ADSL x 64 Lines window appears click on the
ADSL Line
to be
tested then left click on the
Configure
button.
