Configure/Activate/Test 32 Port SHDSL Units
This sub-section details the functional checks for alignment of the SHDSL modems
to the SHDSL lines equipped in the subrack. If SHDSL card testing is not required,
skip this sub-section.
The
32 x SHDSL
lines are grouped as 1 to 4, 5 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 16, 17 to 20, 21
to 24, 25 to 28 and 29 to 32. All SHDSL Lines should be tested from each group of
four lines. This will ensure that each line IC is tested.
Proceed by configuring all 32 lines, then activate
All
selected lines per SHDSL unit,
then checking (on a sample of eight SHDSL lines per unit, selecting one line per
group of 4 lines) that by connecting an SHDSL modem at the MDF, all aligning
operations are carried out and these operations are detected by the LCT.
