From the resulting window change the IP Address to a value in line with the
above table, also refer to the Network Planner’s guide for the site. Leave
the IP Network Mask address at 255.255.255.0, and select “
Apply
Changes
” to update the OBM IP address.

From the left-hand side options select “
LOG OUT
” to log out of the EDA
2500 Element Manager and return to the internet browser.
l.
Close down the Internet Browser.

From the main LCT screen select
Maintenance
>
Equipment reboot

From the following window click on the “
Warm reboot
” button, select the
“
Reboot
” option and “
Yes
” to continue.
n.
The equipment will log out of the LCT and the CP card will reboot.
o.
Wait around 5 min before attempting to login again, this time using the new
OBM IP address.
5.6
Software Inventory Check
Check the Software Inventory on each 64 x ADSL2+ card, 64 x POTS/VoIP card
and 32 x SHDSL card. The software in the Common Part card identifies the
software release for the shelf. There is one acceptable release.
This table shows the Software R4.21 GA EC2 for the EDA 2530 cards.

Logon to the EDA 2530 again.

Right click on the Common Part card in slot 1, select
HW/SW Inventory
from the option menu.

In the window displayed, check that the Running Bank (Yes) contains the
correct software code and release. This is an example screen.
