The MSED/HL950 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted in a
standard 19 inch (48,26 cm) rack. Place the unit in a position that
offers access to the interface connectors on the back of the unit.

The MSED/HL950 variant that is equipped with a -48V power
supply MUST be rack mounted and grounded by using the attached
ground cable in order to meet the product safety requirements.

four nut clips, four flat head screws and four round head screws.

Placement

The MSED/HL950 can be rack mounted with either the front or the
back of the chassis facing forward.
There are two sets of mounting holes located on the left and right
sides of the chassis. The forward-most set is used to mount the chas-
sis with the front facing forward; the other set is for mounting the unit
with the back facing forward.

When mounting the MSED/HL950 in a rack, it is required to
leave a minimum of 1 inch (2,54 cm) space above the unit to ensure
proper cooling.
