Voltage Adjustment
The desired value of the output voltage of the rectifier is set by the
ECU function in the DXU. The PSU has a default value of 27.2 V. The
DXU adjusts the individual PSU voltage to maintain the required
system voltage.
Load sharing is achieved by the DXU function when using more than
one PSU, load sharing of parallel PSUs is achieved by adjusting the
individual voltages to each PSU in the system.
Output voltage from the PSU is adjusted to between 26.2 V and 28.5 V
depending on battery temperature.
Power Limitation
When the temperature exceeds the permissable value, the PSU reduces
power and an alarm is sent to the DXU. Output power increases when
the temperature drops, and the alarm is reset.
When the output power of the rectifier reaches 1200 W, the rectifier
limits its power by reducing its output voltage to maintain a constant
output power. The output current increases to a maximum of 60 A even
in the event of short circuits.
