5 MAINTENANCE
This chapter describes all the required maintenance of the Erin Fingerscreener. It is very
important to respect the maintenance schedule. By doing so, the machine keeps doing a high
quality work. Another advantage of proper maintenance is to reduce part replacement related
costs. It also helps to prevent accidents that may occur with damaged parts.
This chapter comprises various maintenance instructions regarding the machine modules, a
maintenance table, a list of things to do before going on the road and a summary of all the
maintenance that has to be done on the Erin Fingerscreener FS206T.
Refer to engine
operator’s guide for more details
.
Check the hour meter regularly to know when periodic maintenance is required. Here is the
frequency of each maintenance:
-
We suggest performing Daily Maintenance
after every 8 to 12 hours
of operation.
-
Weekly Maintenance (including Daily Maintenance steps) should be performed
once a week
or every 40 hours of work
, whichever comes first.
-
Monthly Maintenance (including Daily and Weekly Maintenance) should be performed
once a
month or every 200 hours of work
, whichever comes first.
-
Yearly Maintenance (including all other maintenance) should be performed
once a year or
every 1000 hours of work
, whichever comes first.
-
Maintenance should be performed
before going on the road with the machine, once a
month, or every 200 hours
, whichever comes first.
The information in this chapter is important for the safety of the workers. Therefore, take the
time to read it carefully.
