SET UP ASSEMBLY
1. The mounting arms of the 620RP, 725RP and
825RP are designed to be used on the
standard category
I
3-point hitch. They are also
quick hitch compatible. Be sure to pay extra
attention to the driveline length when using a
quick hitch. Make sure there is proper
engagement throughout the entire range of
motion.
2. Mount the snow blower to the tractor. See user
instructions on page 8.
3. The blower may need to be tilted rearward
somewhat in order to create a straighter
driveline angle from the tractor PTO shaft to the
snow blower gearbox. This can be
accomplished by lengthening the tractor’s upper
3-point arm. The degree of backward tilt
depends on tractor size and PTO location.
EXAMPLE: The higher the tractor PTO shaft is
above the ground, the more backward tilt is
required.
IMPORTANT: It is extremely important to keep the
driveline angle as straight as possible while the
blower is under load as this reduces heat build up
and the chance of bearing failure in the driveline u-
joints.
