Motor power
The motor power determines the torque at which the electrical push wire feed unit
dispatches the wire.
A motor power value of 1.50 A is preset, providing torque suitable for most wires and
various hose bundle lengths. If a soft, thin aluminum wire is used, it can sometimes
be appropriate to reduce the motor power to 1.25 A to avoid problems with wire
tangling.
If you have a worn wire liner, for example, a 16 m. hose bundle, and wire feed is
beginning to slow, the motor strength can be increased to 1.75 A.
Note that it is very important that wire feed is steady at the rear push wire feed unit in
that power source regulation uses the wire speed at the rear wire feed unit as a
reference.
