Electrical Connection
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
(220-240 VOLTS)
The appliance is supplied with a standard 7.5 Amp
service cord terminated by a 3-pin plug for connection to a standard 10 Amp household
socket. The electrical supply is required to power the electronic ignition system.
Note: It will be necessary for servicing purposes to disconnect the electrical power supply.
The power point should therefore be accessible after the appliance is installed, as specified
in the local wiring regulations.
Diagram 1 is schematics of the wiring in
the appliance.
IMPORTANT:
This appliance must be earthed.
This appliance is designed to be connected to a 220-240V, 50Hz-60Hz AC electricity supply.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
1.
Green/Yellow = Earth
2.
Blue
= Neutral
3.
Brown
= Live
IMPORTANT:
The wire which is coloured
Green/Yellow must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or by the
Earth symbol.
WARNING:
When the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
