Reading Mode 2: Book (3.3 times – maximum 28 times magnification)
Select this mode to read a book (width based on reading mode) using DLS.

Reading Mode 3: Column (6 times – maximum 48 times magnification)
To read (newspaper/magazine) columns using DLS, select this mode.
DLS is always deactivated when the device is turned on.
Alternatively, the DLS can also be operated using the remote control (see “Remote
control” chapter on page 22).
Turning the reading line/row on and off
Press the
r
button to turn the reading line on. Press it again to hide the line.

False color display
To display the camera image in false colors for increased contrast, turn rotary knob

until the required false color rendering is displayed. By default, the false colors are preset
as black/white and white/black. To adapt the false color display, open the “Adjusting false
colors“ menu.
Saving the live image as a file
Press the button
e
briefly to save the current camera image as a file on the inserted
SD card and to show it as a still image on the screen. You can also change the magnifi-
cation factor for this image as already described. You can use the arrow keys
k
+
l
to
move the magnified image section vertically, and arrow keys
h
+
j
to move it horizon-
tally. Press the button again to return to the live image display.
