After mounting the flange carefully reinsert the swivel into the flange.
•
Then secure them with the two hexagon socket screws and tighten them
firmly. The torque applied to these screws allows adjustment of the free
movement in the pivotting.
Assembly of the articulated arm with the clamp mounting
If you do not wish to damage the work surface you could set up the articulated
arm with the supplied clamp mounting.
For this, screw out the 4 pre-assembled machine screws from the clamp
•
mounting.
For a simplified assembly you can dis-
•
mantle the flange from the articulated arm.
For this, unscrew both hexagon socket
screws sidewards from the flange and then
pull it from the swivel of the articulated
arm. A suitable spanner is supplied in the
carton for the table clamp.
Align, one above the other, the screw-on
•
flange with the boreholes and and then
firmly screw it to the clamp mounting with
the machine screws . The supplied spanner
can also be used for this.
Now assemble the clamp mounting on the
•
work surface.
Finally, carefully insert the swivel back into
•
the flange and then screw both hexagon
socket screws back in until they are firmly fixed.
