Setting Up
1. Screw the table clamp

3. Plug the AC adapter

into a properly
connected power socket. When using the
device outside of the EU, please use the
country-specific adapter piece.
4. Open the protective lid

. If necessary,
you can also remove this entirely. The lid
can be snapped in or out of the pivot axis
at any position.
5. Turn the control knob
e
back past the
stiff point to switch on the magnifying
light. A slight warming of the outer light
ring during operation is normal. Under
unfavourable ambient conditions, the
warming of the device may increase. If
the temperature reaches 65°C, the output
is automatically reduced.
6. Turn the control knob
e
farther back to
increase the brightness. Turn it forward
to reduce the brightness.
7. Position the magnifying light at the
desired working height.
8. To switch off the device, turn the control knob
e
all the way forward past the stiff point.
