This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

appliance! User of the appliance is responsible for all people and objects in the working

Always stay alert and watch what you are doing. Use extreme caution at all times when
operating the appliance. Do not use the appliance while you are tired, sick or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or other substances that could affect your ability

Always wear appropriate protective equipment when using the appliance (helmet, safety
goggles, hearing protectors, non-slip safety shoes, safety gloves etc.).

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery; they can be caught in moving
parts. Long hair should be tied up.

The appliance may only be operated in daylight and under conditions of good visibility.

Stop the engine and wait until the blade has come to a complete stop before cleaning,
maintaining or repairing the appliance or replacing any parts.

FUEL SAFETY WARNINGS

Fuel is extremely flammable and its fumes may explode when ignited. In order to avoid
accidents, always use extreme caution when handling fuel.

When making the fuel mixture, always use an approved fuel canister and mix it in a well-
ventilated space outdoors. Never smoke or use sparks, open fire or other ignition
sources near the fuel handling area.

Never refuel the appliance indoors.

Stop the engine and let it cool before refuelling. Never refuel the appliance when the
engine is running – risk of fire!

Carefully wipe up all spilled fuel with a dry cloth.

Move the appliance at least 3 meters from the fuelling place before starting the engine.
