3
minutes to start, your music should start playing if you have it properly connected to your amplifier.
Simply adjust the volume on your amplifier for the desired level.
Connecting your player to your amplifier:
Since can amplifiers differ greatly, here are some basic guidelines. We also have provided two
examples:
1)
Your amplifier should have a jack on the back that will allow you to plug in a “RCA” type
cable like the picture above. It will probably be labeled “Aux” or “Program”. If so, plug one
end of the cable into your amplifier and the other end into the STREAMING OUTPUT port
of your MixHits player. You can adjust the level on the front of your amplifier using the
“Aux” or “Program” volume knob. If your amplifier has more than one “Aux” jack, you
should be able to use any of them. Just make sure that you are adjusting the
corresponding knob on the front. Some amplifiers have a switch that says “Mic/Aux”.
Make sure that the switch is in the “Aux” position.
2)
If your amplifier does not have a “RCA” type jack, then you will have to connect it
differently.

Notice the jack labeled “Aux”. This is where one end of the cable with the “RCA” type connectors will
plug in. Plug the other end into the jack labeled STREAMING OUTPUT port on the MixHits player.
On this amplifier, you will also need to check on the front to make sure the switch labeled “Mic/Aux” is
in the “Aux” position.
