If loop brake handles are exposed to extreme temperatures (above
100° F or below 32° F), high humidity and / or become wet, prior to
using the unit, ensure handgrips DO NOT twist on frame handle -
otherwise damage or injury may occur.
n
All wheels MUST be in contact with the floor at all times during use.
This will ensure that unit is properly balanced.
n
To prevent tipping which may result in injury or damage:

The Brakes MUST be in locked position and the flip up backrest
must be down before using seat.
n
DO NOT use seat when unit is on an incline or uneven ground.
n
DO NOT have anyone push you while you are seated. This is a
walking aid only and not intended for use as a transportation device.
n
Be sure you get proper instruction for use from your supplier.
(a) DO NOT attempt to reach objects if you have to move
forward while seated.
(b) DO NOT hang anything from the frame of your unit. Items
should be placed in a basket designed for your unit.
(c) The backrest should ALWAYS be in place and is NOT
designed to support your total body weight.
(d) When reaching or picking up items place both feet
securely on the floor and reach down between your knees.
(e) DO NOT add to your load when you are seated.
The above situations will cause a change of weight
distribution and may cause the unit to tip, resulting in
injury or damage. Always use EXTREME caution when
reaching for any object.
