CLEANING, CARE and MAINTENANCE

Your New 

 walker is a mechanical device with moving 

parts and like all mechanical devices needs regularly scheduled 
maintenance. Much you can do easily, however, if you find problems 
in periodic checks, please return unit to place of purchase for service 
or repair.

CLEANING:

 

 

Wipe frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust  
as needed.

STORAGE:

 

 

Keep unit indoors overnight and do not expose to salt air or 
harsh environments. If exposed, inspect for damage and clean 
before using. 

 Hook and loop strap can be used to secure unit in a closed 

position for storage and transportation.

 Backrest conveniently flips up for storage or transportation.

PERIODIC CHECKS:

Units used on a daily basis should be checked weekly for:
  1. Front Wheel (caster) function: 

 

(a) Turns easily. 

 

(b) Is completely secure in the frame. 

 

(c) If any damage is found, take the unit to  

 

 

     authorized dealer for a repair.

  2. There are no cracks in the frame, tubing and / or welds.  

 

If there are any found, take the unit to authorized dealer for  

 

a repair.

  3. All wheels in good condition with no significant wear or  

 

cracks. Replace wheels if they become cracked,  

 

excessively worn or have flat spots.

  4. Brakes - when engaged, it should prevent the wheels  

 

from turning. Repair or adjust brakes when not functioning  

 properly.
