Fixing a malfunction
A malfunction may be due to a minor problem that you can solve yourself using the following
instructions. Before seeking assistance, check the following:
1) Your refrigerator is not working:
Check:
•
That it is properly plugged in;
•
That the socket is suitable and in good condition. To do this, plug another appliance into
the same socket.
•
That the fuse has not blown or is not faulty.
2) Your refrigerator is not working optimally:
Check:
•
That the refrigerator is not overloaded with food,
•
That the doors are securely closed and have not been left open too long,
•
That you have not placed hot food in the appliance,
•
That the appliance is not located near a heat source,
•
That the space left in the back and at the sides of the unit is sufficient.
3) Your appliance is noisy:
The cooling gas circulating in the refrigeration circuit can sometimes emit a
slight noise even when the compressor is not running. Don't worry, this is
completely normal.
If you hear a different sound, check :
•
That the device is upright,
•
That nothing is in touching it at the back,
•
That the contents of the appliance are not vibrating.
4) Error messages "EO", "El" or "E2" are displayed:
Sensors in the device are defective. Contact the after-sales service of your
retailer store.
If the information above does not help you resolve your problem, do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself ; contact your retailer’s after-sale service.
