Confirmation of data
Confirm if the calibration is done correctly with the model eye that is used for calibration.
1
)
Press ‘RETURN’ after finishing calibration of the model
eye that need to be adjusted.
2
)
The screen will be back to the screen of
‘MAINTENANCE MODE’ so press ‘RETURN’ switch.
3
)
The screen will be switched to the measurement screen.
Align the model eye correctly and conduct measurement
of the refractive strength and keratometry. Make sure
the measurement results are within the acceptable
criteria below.
Measured model eye
Acceptable range
Equivalent to SPH = +10D
SPH: within ±0.12D of the
model eye indicated value
CYL: within ±0.12D
Equivalent to SPH = 0D
Equivalent to SPH = -10D
Equivalent to SPH = -4.75D
(Accessory model eye)
Equivalent to R = 7.50 mm
Both of R1 and R2
Within ±0.01mm of the
model eye indicated value
Equivalent to R = 10.00 mm
Equivalent to R = 5.00 mm
If the measurement results are over the acceptable range, recalibrate the model eye.
Measure the refractive strength with VD=0 (CONTACT).
