Maintenance instructions
1. Each day:
a. Open the drain plug (No 6) and empty the condensed water from the tank.
b. Oil level has to be checked through control window (No 15).
2. Once a month (or after each 50 working hours):
a. The compressor has to cleaned from outside.
b. Clean the air filter (No 3), by blowing it with compressed air in the opposite direction then the air
intake.
3. After first 50 working hours and afterwards once a year (or after each 300 working hours):
Oil has to be changed.
4. Every two years period (or after each 2000 working hours):
Check and clean the valves (if necessary, valves have to be changed).
Note! Before any maintenance works the compressor must be
disconnected from the electrical supply.
Health hazards
• One has to pay attention to the fact that during compressor operation period the compressor block and
pipes get very hot and in case of careless action it may cause burns.
• The compressor user always has to take care of his/her own and other persons’ security. Individual pro-
tection equipment always has to be used.
• Wear safety goggles, in order to reduce risk of eye injuries that could be caused by flying sawdust, dust
and sparkles.
• Inhalation of dust can be harmful to health. Wear a suitable visor or breathing apparatus, when working
in a dusty environment.
• In case of continuous work wear safety gloves protecting against the cold air.
• In order to avoid damage to hearing, always use ear protection when running the compressor.
• The user must always pay attention to the fact that continuous use of rotating and impact producing
manual tools could result in joint and health injuries caused by the vibration.
• Ergonomic load: Repeated work related to monotonous movements and unfavorable body positions may
cause back, neck, arm and other joint injuries.
Important
Note!
In order to provide a qualitative oiling and perfect operation of device, only the recommended engi-
ne oil should be used. To maintain a good oil circulation, the compressor has to be placed in a horizontal
position.
Prevention of leak.
One has to provide that there would not occur leakages in the air system. When assem-
bling the nipples to the tools, spire isolation band should always be used. One should also ensure that the
air hoses and hose couplings are in perfect conditions.
The compressed air has to be dry.
The more clean and dry the air is kept, the longer the life time of the
machine. Use a
/XQD
air filter is recommended to keep the compressed air more clean from condensed
water which can cause corrosion damages on tools and applications.
Water condensation.
One has to remember in the beginning or at the end of each working day to release
the condensed water from the compressor tank and pressure pipes.
