configured and have its configuration downloaded into its memory
before it will operate. There is no default configuration installed
information in the annunciator as shipped from the factory.
Project name and location information is entered to uniquely identify
each individual project.
Each annunciator connected to an LSS4 must have its “Display ID”
(sub-address) entered. Annunciator location, “Screen Label,” and
“Geographic Category” information should also be entered.
The operation of the front panel switches on the LSRA-C’s must be
configured in conjunction with the front panel Enable/Disable key
switch.
All annunciators must have the type and text content of messages to be
displayed configured and downloaded into the annunciator’s memory.
Message routing and printer configuration information must also be
configured for each annunciator. Worksheets are provided at the end of
this document to facilitate the design and configuration of the
annunciators.
