5. Preparing for use
5.1
Charging
• Fully
charge the batteries before you use LedSonic
®
for the first time and
when the batteries are empty. Fully charging the batteries takes up to 5 hours
• Low battery alert: Charging LedSonic
®
when hearing the continuous “D..D..D”
sound during use to indicate that the battery is low.
• Fully charged batteries provide operation time at least approx. 1 hr 20 min. for
ultrasonic mode and approx. 1hr. 40min. for LEDs light therapy mode.
• Fully charge the appliance every 3 to 4 months, even if you do not use
LedSonic
®
for a longer time.
Directions for charging the LedSonic
®
:
1. Switch off the appliance
2. Insert the small plug from the adaptor into the back of the charger base and
put the adaptor in the wall socket. (See Fig. 6)
Notes: The LEDs attachments into the charger base are only for storage purpose.

3. Charging indicator light (See Fig. 7)
• The “Select” key is blinking in blue while charging
• The “Select” key is light on in blue when fully charged
Notes: It is normal when the adaptor and the appliance feel warm during charging.
Warning: NEVER cover the appliance and adaptor during charging
4. Remove the adaptor from the wall socket and pull the small plug out of the
appliance when fully or after charged.
5.2
Preparing treatment areas
• Start by cleaning your face with non-oil based cleanser and free of any
powder on the skin.
• Use the provided soft cloth to clean the surface of the attachment.
5.3
Patch test
• Familiarize yourself with the features of the LedSonic
®
device
• Turn on the LedSonic
®
with the ultrasonic mode and test on a small patch of
skin and wait 24 hours.
• Light Test : Turn on the LedSonic
®
with the Red LEDs attachment (and test
again in Blue LEDs attachment) and test on a small patch of skin with 2
minute treatment on the same area. Wait 24 hours
• The patch test is to ensure there are no adverse reactions. If irritation occurs
do not continue treatment and please consult the doctor or dermatologist.
