• Avoid abnormal body postures while working.
• Avoid switching on or starting up the machine unintentionally.
• Do not leave keys, spanners and adjusting tools inserted in the machine.

• When fitting attachments note the direction of rotation of tool and attachment.
• Use hand, eye, ear and, if necessary, face protection.
• Avoid spark emission, flammable materials and substances.
• Never let go of the tool while it is running.
Warning
: The wheel continues to rotate after the tool is switched off.
Operation
To fit a polishing disc to this unit carry out the following procedure:
Press the spindle locking knob right down and hold it in this position. If necessary turn the spindle slightly
with the free hand. Tighten the clamping nut with the flange key provided. Please note the manufacturers
specifications for working with polishing materials.
Working hints
•
Maintain the largest possible distance between disc and operator.
•
Exert only slight pressure and no lateral load on the disc. Note the direction of rotation.
•
Avoid knocking the workpiece.
Installation & usage of the polisher function

Push on the spindle lock, then install the polisher on the axis.

Adjust the speed to suitable level.
Maintenance
Regularly remove grinding dust from the tool and air slots. Clean the housing with a damp cloth only, do not
use solvents! Dry well after cleaning.
