Dimmer Settings
The interface buttons and repeating color LEDs are used to navigate the
settings menu. You can change the phase dimming mode or set the LED
drive mode to control the minimum dimming level.
Phase Dimming Mode
The controller supports three modes: Reverse, Forward, and Automatic
phase detection (default). With Automatic phase, the controller recognizes
if the load is inductive or capacitive and automatically switches to forward
phase for an inductive load or to reverse phase for a capacitive/resistive load.
To change the phase dimming mode:
1. Press and hold both the
[Learn]
and the
[Clear]
buttons until both the
Power and Learn LEDs blink blue to access the dimming menu.
2. Release both buttons. The Power LED remains ON solid blue and the
Learn LED blinks blue to indicate the current phase setting:
• 1 blink = Automatic phase detection (default)
• 2 blinks = Reverse phase dimming (for ELV, LED, incandescent, or
halogen loads)
• 3 blinks = Forward phase dimming (for MLV loads)
3. Press and release the
[Learn]
button to cycle through the blink codes
until your target setting displays.
4. Press and hold the
[Clear]
button until the Learn LED blinks blue to
save and exit the menu.
Note:
If the lighting load is not dimming smoothly when
controlled by the dimmer, contact technical services
before adjusting the phase dimming mode.
