Message
Corrective Action
At Trim
Release up/down button. Press again to move hoist.
Cycle Power
Turn the keyswitch to the “OFF” position, wait
5 seconds, then turn to the “ON” position.
E-stop
Verify that the area is safe. See accompanying message to
determine which button is pressed.
Hard Lower Limit
The lower limit has been reached. Move the hoist in the
up direction.
Hard Upper Limit
The upper limit has been reached. Move the hoist in the
down direction.
High Trim
The user-defined upper limit has been reached. Move the
hoist in the down direction or set High Trim to a different
position.
Inspection due today
A system inspection is due today. Schedule a system
inspection as soon as possible.
Inspection due in
A number of days accompanies this. A system inspection is
due in this many days.
Inspection overdu
A system inspection is overdue. Schedule a system
inspection as soon as possible.
Load too heavy
Reduce weight on batten or re-record the load profile.
Look for obstructions that may have increased the load.
Load too light
Check to see that load is not resting on something.
Increase load or re-record profile.
E-stop Local
Verify that the area is safe. Release the control station E-
stop button.
Local Down Stuck
Cycle power with no buttons pressed. If error recurs,
contact your system installer or ETC Technical Services.
Local Up Stuck
Cycle power with no buttons pressed. If error recurs,
contact your system installer or ETC Technical Services.
Low Trim
The user-defined lower limit has been reached. Move the
hoist in the up direction or set Low Trim to a different
position.
Man Switch Stuck
Cycle power with no buttons pressed. If error recurs,
contact your system installer or ETC Technical Services.
Low Limit Override
Return batten to normal operating range. Release override
button.
Max Load Exceeded
Reduce weight on batten. Look for obstructions that may
have increased the load.
Motor Over Temp
Wait for motor to cool down. If message remains after 10
minutes, contact your system installer or ETC Technical
Services.
E-stop Multiple
Verify that the area is safe. Release all E-stop buttons.
Not Responding
Make sure the respective hoist is powered and connected
to the control system. If problem persists, contact your
system installer or ETC Technical Services.
OTrav Lim Override
Return batten to normal operating range. Release override
button.
Overload
Reduce the load on the batten.
RC Bypass Fault
Disconnect remote control. Contact your system installer
or ETC Technical Services.
