Troubleshooting
Problem

Scale does not turn on.
Open the battery compartment cover and remove the plastic strip.
Replace the batteries (see page 13).
Insert batteries under the correct polarity as marked in the battery compartment.
Display backlight does not
come on when stepping on
the scale.
Scale may be malfunctioning. Contact
Customer Support
(see page 17).
Display shows “ ”.
Weight exceeds 180 kg / 400 lb. Use another scale with a higher weight range.

Replace the batteries (see page 13).

Scale needs to be cleared. Please place the scale on a flat surface and wait for it to be
cleared before using it.
Reading is inaccurate.
Place scale on a level surface.
Step off the scale, wait for the display to show “
”, then step back on the scale.
Remove the batteries for 45 seconds and replace them to reset the scale.
