Water and ice dispenser
Clean the water and ice dispenser before using it for the first time (see ‘Maintenance’).
If the child lock is activated or the door is open, the dispenser will not operate.
Note
If the water filter pictogram is illuminated, the water filter must be replaced. Order a new
water filter from the service centre. Make sure it is the right type of water filter for your
appliance. Fit the new water filter (see ‘Installation and connection’).
Then switch off the
pictogram by pressing the ECO key for 3 seconds.
1. Press the water key, crushed key (crushed ice) or cubed key (ice cubes).
▷
The pictogram is illuminated.
2. Place your glass underneath the water and ice outlet and push gently against the dispenser
lever with your glass. Make sure the glass is in line with the dispenser to prevent the water
from splashing out or the ice from bouncing out.
If you press the cubed key after using the crushed key, a small amount of remaining
crushed ice may fall into your glass.
If you do not need ice, you can switch off the ice maker to save water and energy.
When ice cubes fall into the reservoir, it is normal to hear noises.
The first batch of ice cubes after installation may be small, because air has entered the
water pipe. In normal use, all air is removed. If the ice cubes are still small, check that the
water is circulating in the pipe and that the water pressure is high.
