Setting the thermostat
The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of both compartments.
• The normal temperature setting is position 4.
• Set a higher temperature by turning the thermostat dial to position 1, 2 or 3.
• Set a lower temperature by turning the thermostat dial to position 5, 6 or 7.
• In the ‘0’ position, the appliance is switched off.
The recommended temperature of the refrigerator compartment is 4 °C and the
recommended temperature of the frozen compartment is -18 °C.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: a setting between ‘4’ and ‘7’ is advised when
frozen products are stored for a longer period.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: set a lower temperature (a setting between ‘5’
and ‘7’ ) if the ambient temparature is less than 16 °C.
Fast freezing
The day before you want to freeze large amounts of fresh food at the same time, you can set the
thermostat dial to the lowest temperature setting. Set the thermostat dial to the normal position
when the food is frozen.
