Setting the thermostat
The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of both compartments.
1. The normal temperature setting is position ECO.
2. Set a higher temperature by turning the thermostat dial between position ‘0’ and position
ECO.
3. Set a lower temperature by turning the thermostat dial to a position after position ECO.
4. In the ‘0’ position, the appliance is switched off.
Shorter lines mean a higher temperature. Longer lines mean a lower (and therefore
colder) temperature.

The recommended temperature of the refrigerator compartment is 4 °C and the
recommended temperature of the frozen compartment is -18 °C.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: a setting between position ECO and a
position after ECO is advised when frozen products are stored for a longer period.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: set a lower temperature (a setting between
position ECO and a position after ECO) if the ambient temparature is less than 16 °C.
Fast freezing
The day before you want to freeze large amounts of fresh food at the same time, you can set the
thermostat dial to the lowest temperature setting. Set the thermostat dial to the normal position
when the food is frozen.
