There are 5 rows of buttons. For rows 5 Mode, 4 Temperature, 3 Cook time and 1 Volume, there
is a special feature. If you press any of these buttons momentarily, the oven will announce the
current setting. If you momentarily press the button again within 5 seconds, the setting will
change. After 5 seconds has elapsed, if you press the button again momentarily it announces the
current setting. If you press and hold down and of these keys (in rows 5,4,3, and 1) the settings
will auto increment or auto decrement depending on which key is pressed. All left hand keys are
“up” keys and all right hand keys are “down” keys.
Before using the oven, set the volume level. Locate the lower most set of keys. They are labeled
“volume up” and “volume down”. Use these keys to set a volume level that is comfortable for
you. Once you set the volume you won’t need to press these keys again unless there is a power
outage.
The TTO-1 was designed to be as user friendly as possible. Remember this when setting the
oven to cook, TOP DOWN. Set each function from the top row keys down. You must set from
the TOP DOWN, mode, temperature and cook time before pressing the start button.
Always wait for the oven to finish talking before pressing other buttons, except in the case of
auto increment or decremant functions.
Note- You cannot change the mode, temperature or cook time once the oven is running. You
must first press the stop button. If you press the stop button twice in a row, the cook time will be
reset to 0.
You must always set a cook time when cooking. Having the oven on for an unlimited amount of
time is not permitted.
If when you press a button, you hear a “ding” sound, this means that key is not available in
current oven’s state.
The TTO-1 will announce the temperature one time once the oven has reached the cooking
temperature that you set.
When the oven finishes a cook cycle or a timer cycle, it will chime 3 times, pause for 10 seconds
and chime again 3 times. Press the stop button to cancel this reminder after the first annunciation.
The Convection fan only operates during the bake mode. It can be turned off. See “Convection
bake vs bake” below.
If the oven fails to operate after being left in very cold environments (below freezing) let the
oven warm up to room temperature or at least above freezing before using it.
If the oven announces “error” followed by a number, unplug the oven wait for 1 minute then
plug it back in. If it still announces and error call ETS for service.
