HOW DOES IT WORK?
The EC52 is stationery on the first step of the escalator and roller
brushes clean each step in turn as the escalator moves.
Once all steps have been cleaned on that side, the brush head of the
EC52 is swivelled around to repeat the process on the other side of the
steps. Cleaning is carried out in two parts,
the dry phase (to remove dust, dirt and debris)
and the wet phase (to clean and dry)

Begin by cleaning the right side of the escalator first. Switch the brushes ON and carefully manoeuvre the
machine onto the escalator with the steps moving towards you and
apply the BRAKE
(be extra careful if
you are cleaning at the top of the escalator as the machine is moving away from you). The dry phase
should take approximately 10 minutes (you should notice a significant difference very quickly). Now you
must swivel the brushes in order to clean the other side of the escalator. There is a BLACK knob located
on the right hand side of the brush container, swivel the full head of the machine and secure the BLACK
knob into place (ensure it is properly secure otherwise you could cause damage to the escalator). When
you have completed the dry phase on both sides you are ready to move onto the WET PHASE
