• Wipe up any spilt chain oil immediately.
• Turn the chain oil tank cap (3) clockwise to close it.
Checking the chain brake
Warning!
You must check the chain brake before every use. If the chain brake does not move, do not
use the chain saw and contact Service Centre.
• The chain brake stops the saw chain in the event of a kickback.
• Make sure the front hand guard (1) is free of dirt and moves freely.
• With the chainsaw switched on, press the front hand guard (1) forwards until it clicks
into place. The saw chain should stop moving.
• Pull the front hand guard backwards to disengage the chain brake (fig.B).
OPERATION
WARNING! Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, non-skit safety shoes when
working with the chain saw. Wear eye and ear and head protection. And ensure
that the chain saw is functional before each use.
Only insert the battery pack once the appliance if fully ready for use.
All screw connections are firmly tightened.
Get to know the chain saw before start to use it!
Always hold the chain saw with two hands and thumb of the hand on the front
hand is below the handle as shown!
