If the collecting bag is full:
1. Detach the collecting bag;
2. Empty the collecting bag;
3. Attach the collecting bag.
Always empty the collecting bag in good time to prevent it from overfilling.
Attention !
This appliance is equipped with a safety switch that prevents
the operation of the appliance if the enclosure is not closed properly. If
you can’t switch on your appliance, check the safety switch.
Warning!
The ventilation slots on the machine body must never be
covered by the collecting bag or shredded material.
How do I replace the blades?
1. Ensure that the shredder is switched off and disconnected from the mains supply.
2. Remove the hopper by unscrewing the reamer cover knob (9) on the discharge chute. (Fig.8)

3. Remove the metal plate by unscrewing the 8 screws. (Fig.9)
4. The blades have two cutting edges. When the blades become worn, they can be reversed to
use the second cutting edge.
5. It is recommended that work gloves must be used when replacing the blades.
6. Lock the blade disc using screwdriver. Unscrew the two inner hexagonal headed screws and
note the position of the cutting angle of the blade. (Fig.10)
