b) Connecting the weather station to the power adapter
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the power adapter to the socket on the connection cable for the power adapter (10)
on the rear of the weather station. A beep sounds.
If you connect the weather station to the power adapter with the batteries inserted correctly, the weather
station is only supplied with power from the power adapter as it has priority over the batteries. The batteries
serve as a backup.
c) Replacing the batteries
1
Replacing the batteries in the outdoor sensor
• If the battery voltage of the outdoor sensor is too low, the batteries in the outdoor sensor should be replaced. You
should replace all batteries in the sensor at the same time.
• To replace the batteries, proceed as outlined in ‘Inserting the batteries into the outdoor sensor’. Remove the
depleted batteries before inserting the new ones.
Each time the batteries in the outdoor sensor are replaced, the wireless connection to the weather station needs to be
re-established manually. Otherwise, the weather station will no longer find the outdoor sensor automatically. Proceed
as follows:
1. When you have replaced all batteries in the outdoor sensor, press the
SENSOR
button (17) on the weather station.
2.
Briefly press the
RESET
button (K) on the outdoor sensor. The outdoor sensor then generates a new connection
code which can be used for the new connection.

Replacing the batteries in the weather station
• If the LC display (8) on the weather station becomes feint, the battery voltage in the weather station is too low.
The batteries should be replaced. The battery status indicator for the weather station indicates a low charge state.
• To replace the batteries, proceed as outlined in ‘Inserting the batteries into the weather station’. Remove the
depleted batteries before inserting new ones.
11. Operation
a) Wirelessly connecting the weather station to the outdoor sensor
The transmitter for wireless transmission of all measured data is integrated into the outdoor sensor. After inserting
the batteries, the weather station automatically starts searching for the active outdoor sensor and connecting to it
wirelessly. The reception symbol
flashes. This indicates that the weather station is searching for the wireless
signal from the outdoor sensor. When the connection has been successfully established, the reception symbol
and the measured values for outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation are
permanently shown on the LC display (8).
Wait patiently for a few moments. There may be a number of reasons why the signal is not received immediately, such
as atmospheric or other interference.
If there is nothing on the LC display (8) after inserting the batteries, press the
RESET
button (K) on the
outdoor sensor with a pointed object.
