Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into flames. Never charge conventional, non-
rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!
• All batteries must be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries can cause the batteries to
leak and damage the product.
d) Persons and product
• Do not cover the air inlet or insert objects when the rotor is turning.
• Do not block any of the ventilation openings on the product. Do not cover it.

Observe the safety information in each section.
• The product is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for medical purposes or for public infor-
mation. It is not intended for commercial, mechanical or industrial use. No warranty will be provided if the
appliance is used in a commercial, mechanical or industrial setting or for similar purposes.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the outdoor sensor transmits rela-
tively weak wireless signals, they could cause malfunctions in life-support systems. The same may apply
in other areas.

In schools, educational facilities, hobby and DIY workshops, the product must be operated under the
supervision of qualified personnel.
• The manufacturer shall not be responsible for inaccurate measurements/weather forecasts or any result-
ing consequences.
• The weather station is suitable only for dry indoor areas. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight,
strong heat, cold, humidity or moisture; otherwise it may be damaged.
• The outdoor sensor is designed for outdoor use. It must not be used in or under water, this will destroy it.
• The components of this product contain fragile small parts that can be swallowed, as well as batteries.
• Do not use spare parts or other parts that are not intended by the manufacturer.
• Keep all components out of the reach of children.

Only use the product in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical climates.
• Do not place the weather station on valuable furniture surfaces, especially those made from wood,
without suitable protection. Otherwise, there is a risk of scratches, pressure points and discolouration.
• Set up the weather station at least 20 cm away from people.
e) Electrical safety
• The power adapter is built according to protection class II.
•
Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the device. If liquid or a
foreign object enters the interior of the device nevertheless, first power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. switch off the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use
and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
