g) Measured values outside of the measurement range
• If the indoor temperature is below -40 °C, the LC display (10) shows ‘Lo’. If the temperature is above 70 °C, the
LC display shows ‘HI’.
• If the outdoor temperature is below -40 °C, the LC display (10) shows ‘Lo’. If the temperature is above 80 °C, the
LC display shows ‘HI’.
• If the air humidity is below 1 %, the LC display (10) shows ‘Lo’. If the air humidity is above 99 %, the LC display
shows ‘Hi’.
h) Moon phases
The moon phases are displayed according to calendar information, time zone, date and time. The moon phase display
shows the natural phases of the moon and its appearance in the form of a diagram. The moon phase symbols are
different for the northern and southern hemisphere.
• Ensure that the hemisphere setting is correctly adjusted for the place at which the weather station is used (see
Section ‘d) Time display and time setting’ in Chapter 11. Operation’.
• The following is an overview of the individual moon phase symbols

i) Weather forecast and weather forecast symbols
• The weather station calculates a weather forecast for the coming period based on the previous air pressure trend
(barometer) and displays the corresponding weather forecast symbols. The forecast data are valid for the next 12 to
24 hours and are valid for an area within a radius of 30 to 50 km around the location of the weather station/outdoor
sensor. Increasing air pressure usually indicates more sunny weather.
