4. Finish your entry by pressing the
PROG
/ SNOOZE key once
more. This brings you back to standard display again. As an
alternative, you can wait for approx. 10 seconds, after which the
display returns automatically to the standard information (timeout
function).
As soon as a memo time has been programmed and is active, it
is indicated by ”MEMO 1” or ”MEMO 2” on the display.
Entering a memo time switches automatically into ON mode.
Memo appointment check / activation
1. Press
PROG
/ SNOOZE.
2. Now switch from ”ALARM” to ”MEMO 1” or ”MEMO 2” pressing
the
PROG
/ SNOOZE key. The date and time of your appointment
are displayed. The word ”ON” to the right from time display
shows active memo function. If the function is inactive, it shows
”OFF”.
If the display to the right from the time indication of your appo-
intment shows ”OFF” the appointment is deactivated and you will
not be reminded of it. To activate it press SYNC /
SET
. The indi-
cation ”OFF” changes to ”ON”.
3. Pressing
PROG
/ SNOOZE you leave the selection and return to
standard display again. As an alternative, you can simply wait for
10 seconds after which the radio-controlled clock with meteoro-
logical station automatically returns to standard display (timeout
function).
Turning off the memo signal
On the day of your appointment, the time field of your display
shows the date. That means: There is a memo appointment today.
Upon reaching the time of your memo appointment, the indication
”MEMO 1” or ”MEMO 2” starts blinking. In addition a signal consi-
sting of three tones is sounded. During the first minute you can hear
it every 10 seconds. After that only one tone sequence per minute
reminds you of your appointment. After 60 minutes the acoustic
reminder is automatically shut off. The indication of the past appo-
intment keeps blinking though, until you press 24H/OFF /
ON/OFF
key.
Pressing the 24H/OFF /
ON/OFF
you turn the reminder of your
memo appointment off.
6.3 Setup settings
You can change the following setup settings (each keystroke is
acoustically confirmed):
• Altitude above sea level (important, as an incorrect value results
in an incorrect weather forecast)
• Unit of atmospheric pressure (hPa / mbar)
• The address of the outside sensor (under normal circumstances
it should not be changed) – see also paragraph 4.1 Addressing
the sensor
• Unit of temperature (°C / °F)
• Volume of alarm and memo signal
• Time zone
• Language
1. Press the
PROG
/ SNOOZE key for more than 3 seconds.
2. The value pertaining to the altitude above sea level is blinking.
Adjust it using the MIN / – or MAX / + keys. Finish the procedure
by pressing the SYNC /
SET
key. If the value is correct, continue
on with SYNC /
SET
to next setting.
3. Adjust the blinking choices one by one. If you wish to adopt cur-
rent value or confirm the change, press the SYNC /
SET
key to
