16. Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Unplug the power adapter and remove the batteries before cleaning the product.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not press too hard on the display, as this can lead to scratch marks
or damage the display
• Use a soft and clean long-haired brush to remove dust on the weather station.
• Use a damp soft cloth to remove dirt on the outdoor sensor.
• Check the rain funnel from time to time and remove any foliage that is blocking the opening.
17. Maintenance
• You do not need to carry out maintenance work on the product. Repair or maintenance work must be done by a
specialist or a repair centre. Never attempt to service any of the interior components or open the product, except
for inserting/changing the batteries and attaching the components as described in these operating instructions.
