S-Video Connector
Connect your television to your computer and view DVD’s, VCD’s or anything
else your computer can display. You will need an S-Video cable to make the con-
nection. Enable this port from the video driver controls (see
“Enabling TV Dis-
play” on page 3 - 12
).
External Monitor (CRT) Port
Connect an external CRT monitor to this port to allow dual video or simultane-
ous display on the LCD and external CRT monitor (
see “Attaching a Monitor
(CRT)” on page 3 - 5)
.
PS/2 Type Port
Connect an external PS/2 type mouse or keyboard to this port. You can use a “Y”
splitter if you want to attach both.
LAN Jack
This port supports LAN (Network) functions. The larger connection port is for
network; the other is for the telephone line to connect to the built-in modem.
Note
: Broadband (e.g. ADSL) modems usually connect to the LAN port.
