INTRODUCTION
This tool, a power chainsaw, has been developed for cutting back small branches, larger
branches and tree trunks on private land.
This tool is not permitted for professional use.
The cut is made by a rotating chain which is driven by a petrol engine. The operator using the
saw must be on his feet and must hold the tool in both hands. The operator has a handle and
safety throttle that they can use to start and stop the machine, without risk of injury.
The machine cannot run without the operator present to actuate both controls simultaneously.
This chainsaw must not be used for the following:
- For commercial purposes
- For agricultural use
- To cut wood with a diameter which is greater than the one specified in this manual
- Operation by children
- Operation by several people
- On terrain with obstacles (cables, objects lying around, etc.)
- Operation without safety devices
- In the rain or in a damp environment
