INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO EACH USE
• Read the user manual carefully each time before using the tool.
• Only allow persons who have read the operating manual beforehand to use
the tool.
• Never allow children near the power saw.
• Memorise the meaning of the symbols on your tool.
• Do not use the machine if you are taking medication that can cause
drowsiness or nausea. The above also applies to the consumption of drugs,
alcohol or harmful substances that can impair reflexes and decision-making.
• The machine operator is responsible for accidents and unforeseen events.
You should therefore be extremely vigilant and keep an eye on your work
environment when using, cleaning or servicing the tool.
• When cutting small branches, great care must be taken as parts may be
ejected.
• Do not use the chain saw in the rain or in conditions of poor visibility.
• Do not expose the tool to rain.
• Do not use the tool inside a tree.

Using fuel and oil
• Do not smoke near the tool.
• Always use a funnel when topping up with petrol or oil. If petrol spills onto the
outside of the tank, move the tool elsewhere before starting the engine.
• Never fill the tank with petrol or oil while the engine is running or is still warm:
risk of burning.
• Never remove the cap of the petrol or oil tank while the engine is running or is
still warm.
• The petrol or oil tank must only be filled outdoors and away from any possible
ignition sources (it is strictly prohibited to smoke near where fuel or oil is being
used).
