IMPORTANT WARNING:
Do NOT
open the water cap (with safety valve)
until
all remaining steam is released
(emptied) from the boiler.
(a) How to RELEASE (empty) STEAM from the Boiler
If you have used the iron within the previous two (2) hours, or if the boiler is still warm, all
remaining steam must be released (emptied)
before opening the water cap on the boiler
(Fig.
3).
•
Press the iron switch (Fig. 2, “D”) into “
ON
” position.
•
Press the boiler switch (Fig. 2, “C”) into “
OFF
” position.
•
Hold down the microswitch (thumb switch) on the iron (Fig. 6) to release all remaining
steam in the boiler until steam stops flowing from the iron. Check pressure gauge (Fig.
2, “B”). It should read “
0
” PSI.
•
Press the iron switch (Fig. 2, “D”) into the “
OFF
” position.
•
Unplug the boiler and allow it to cool.

How to REFILL the BOILER
•
Make sure that both the iron switch (Fig. 2, ”D”) and boiler switch (Fig. 2, “C”) are in
the “off” position.
•
Make sure that the boiler is unplugged.
•
Make sure that any remaining steam in the boiler has been released through the iron as
described in (a) above.
•
Unscrew the water cap, turning the cap (Fig. 3) slightly counterclockwise, slowly. If
any steam continues to escape, stop, plug in boiler and turn the iron switch on to release
the steam through the iron as described in (a) above.
•
After making sure that any remaining steam in the boiler
has been released, slowly remove the water cap. Slowly
pour in approximately 90 oz. of
tap water. Since the
boiler may not be completely empty, please check the
sight glass to accurately measure the correct water level.
Fill up to MAX level marked next to the sight glass. Do not
overfill.
•
Screw on the water cap by turning clockwise. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
