CELLULAR INCOMING CALL CONFIGURATIONS
This section describes how to send calls to SIP.
There are two options:
Sending calls to an IP PBX or SIP Server
Sending calls to a SIP phone that is registered in the internal SIP Server
4.6.1.
CALLING TO AN IP PBX
To call from the Gateway to IP PBX or any SIP Server, you have two options:
sending the call with registration
sending the call without registration
To send a call you must first define a Host in the Gateway. A Host is the SIP account which the
Gateway sends the call to.
To add a Host:
1)
Receive a SIP account from the external SIP Server.
2)
On the Main Toolbar, click
VoIP
.
3)
Select the
SIP
tab.
4)
In the
External SIP Registration
section of the window, enter the following details in the
Hosts
table:
Name
- define a name for this host connection
IP Address
- the SIP Server IP address or DNS name
Port
- the number of the SIP Server port (the default is 5060)
User
- the user name
Secret
- the authentication password of the SIP account
Register
- by checking this box the Gateway sends calls with registration

Click on the next line in the table and then click
Save
.
6)
Click
Register Host
to register the host in the external SIP Server.
7)
After a few seconds, click
Refresh
. If the registration succeeded, the Status will show
Reg
. If
registration failed, it will show
Not Reg
.
