HOW TO USE IT
a)
First use
Do not use the appliance if the glass ceramic surface is broken or cracked. When using the appliance with
a damaged cooktop, the liquid may penetrate inside the appliance which can
lead to dangerous situations - damages and injury to the user.
Clean the outside of the appliance and its cooktop with slightly damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the
appliance with a clean and dry cloth.
Place the appliance on a stable, flat and dry surface, protected from the impacts and that is resistant to
heat.
Make sure that there is sufficient space around the appliance to allow heat to escape and provide
sufficient ventilation. (at least 10cm from the wall or from other device)

Operation
Make sure that the drip tray is properly places in the appliance.
Completely unwind the supply cord and plug the appliance into the wall socket. The power indicator
light will light up and will be on during operation.
Select one of the 2 temperature settings available according to the food to be cooked:

Medium temperature (275W)
-
High temperature (550W).
Wait about 10 minutes for the appliance to reach the selected temperature.
After passing the preheat time, place the food on the cooktop and from time to time check the food
cooking and turn the food over whenever necessary.
The cooking time depends on the result you want and your personal taste.
Stay close to appliance in order to check from time to time the cooking state and to make sure the food
does not burn.
Remove the food from the grill when ready.
After use, unplug the appliance from the wall socket and let it cool down completely.
If food releases too much fat and juices during cooking, it is recommended to tilt the appliance lifting
the bracket. This will facilitate the fat and juice dripping into the tray.
This grill is designed to cook food directly on the ceramic glass surface, which is healthy, hygienic and
fast, saving time and energy.
For cooking food that does not have much fat, such as vegetables, eggs, pancakes, shrimp, some fish,
etc it is advisable to use a bit of cooking oil on the cooktop. For more fatty foods such as cow, or pork
steaks, bacon etc it is not necessary to use cooking oil.
If you use cooking oil, use a high burn resistant point such as cooking peanut oil.
Do not use acid condiments such as vinegar to season food. It is also not recommended the use of
sugar or any liquid with sugar. If you need cooking sweet food, it is recommended to use aluminium foil
to wrap food and prevent sugar to adhere to the cooktop. Burned sugar will damage the cooktop of
this appliance.
During cooking, use the scraper to remove food debris from the cooktop, thereby reducing adhesion.
Use your favorite grilling ustensils and knives to turn the food or cut it directly on the cooktop. Do not
use plastic ustensils on this appliance.
Use aluminium foil for dishes that need to be steamed or need to retain its juices.
During the use if any irregularities detected on the appliance’s operation, check the below table to
understand the causes and solutions.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before any
cleaning operation.
Note that some food residues should be removed immediately after the appliance has been
disconnected, when still hot, but be careful not to touch the cooktop to prevent burns.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the outside of the appliance
with a clean, dry cloth.
Clean the cooktop using the scraper to remove any food residues.
Clean the cooktop with a soft, damp cloth, drying it after with a clean and soft cloth. If necessary, use a
scrubber pad to clean the cooktop.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Do not put in dishwasher!
If it is necessary a thorough cleaning of the ceramic glass cookplate (C), a few drops of a mild detergent
may be used or a specific glass-ceramic surface cleaner, that does not contain phosphates or toxins
