the child restraint firmly
into the vehicle seat while
pulling up on the Lower
Anchor Strap to tighten, as
shown.

Test for tightness
. If you can move the child restraint
more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) side to side or front to back at
the rear-facing belt path, the lower anchor connector
assembly strap is not tight enough.
You will need to try again, find another location for
your child restraint, or install with the vehicle seat
belt (p.

).
