CAUTION!
Only TN-S or TN-C-S configuration is allowed on the UPS's
input, and only TN-S configuration is allowed on the UPS's output.
CAUTION!
No extension cords should be connected to the UPS.
CAUTION!
The device must not be installed near flammable materials!
Never perform works alone in conditions dangerous to health and/or life.
Shortly after moving the UPS from cold environment to warm environment,
moisture can condensate. The UPS must be completely dry before installation
and operation. The acclimatization time should be at least 2 hours.
UPS units and battery modules must not be installed in humid environment.
UPS units and battery modules must not be installed in places where they would
be subject to direct sunlight or near sources of heat.
Ventilation openings in the UPS housing must not be blocked - observe distances
to ventilation openings specified in the manual.
Before connecting the device, the technical condition of the connectors, sockets
and cables, and of the appliance itself, must be checked.
The device must be connected to a power circuit (mains socket) with three
terminals (phase, neutral and grounding), including a PE grounding conductor.
Failure to observe this requirement may result in electric shock.
To reduce the risk of electric shock (in case the grounding cannot be checked),
the device must be disconnected from the mains before installation or connecting
to other equipment - the power lead may only be connected again after making all
required connections.
A device powered through a lead with a plug has a grounding conductor that
carries away the leakage current from the receivers. The leakage currents of all
receivers connected to the UPS's output are summed in the UPS's power lead.
The summary leakage current may trigger protective devices (RCD) and result in
disconnecting power from the receivers.
When connecting and disconnecting signal cables, all activities should be
performed with one hand only (if feasible), in order to avoid electric shock from
touching two surfaces with various electrical potentials.
