Notification
7.3.2.1.
Email Settings
This area is for configuring the mail server that is used to send e-mail notifications from the
camera to predefined addresses via SMTP. Note that to enable e-mail notification function, you
have to check the
box of each alarm function (see
7.3.1 Event
).
Receiver Address
: Input the e-mail addresses for receiving an e-mail message when events occur.
You can select an email service provider from the drop-down list or select
Other
then enter a
domain name. To go back to the drop-down list again, click the left-arrow
button.
Sender Settings:
Check the box to configure the e-mail sender settings. You can select an email
service provider from the drop-down list or select
Other
then enter a domain name. To go back
to the drop-down list again, click the left-arrow
button.
Sender Address
: Input the sender’s e-mail address, so that the receiver can recognize the sender
when an event message is received.
Password
: Input the user’s login password if the SMTP server requires authentication.
Email Title
: Enter a title for the e-mail notification.
SMTP Port
: Enter the port numbers for SMTP. The default port is 25.
